Training Summary
Business Analysis: Concepts, Tools, and Techniques provides an in-depth examination of current Business Analysis practices. After reviewing core concepts, including those underlying capacities and best practices that support their work, participants engage in numerous hands-on exercises in order to learn commonly used tools and techniques. Topics include analysis in support of strategic planning; techniques used to define proposed projects; an effective approach to business process analysis; project requirements development, validation, management and communication; and numerous additional ways that Business Analysts commonly support a project. Although the focus is largely on waterfall style projects, the BA role in both waterfall and agile projects is discussed.
Prerequisites
This course assumes that participants have participated in some projects and have some understanding of one or more business analyst roles.
