Summary:
The objective of this course is to teach the students how to create multidimensional reports in Report Studio 10.1. You will learn to utilize the myriad of MDX functionality within Report Studio to your advantage.
The Facet teaching methodology is used to deliver this course. It is designed to engage the students and promote long term retention. It does so by mimicking real world environment. It is project based, discovery driven, collaborative and adaptive to an individual's learning preference. Students learn through hands-on exploration under the guidance of an experienced instructor who brings the wealth of real world experience to the classroom.

This class is designed with report authors that use dimensional packages in mind. If you have experience with Report Studio and dimensional modeling then this class is for you.

Prerequisites:
Knowledge of reporting and an understanding of Cognos 10 BI. Hands-on knowledge of Report Studio. Knowledge of SQL and Data Warehousing is a plus.
